Southall Farm & Inn
Join us for a 2-hour interactive ceramics experience in the beautiful Southall Greenhouse.
You will be guided through each step of creating a vessel by an experienced instructor. With a maximum of four guests per class, the experience is intentionally small and personal, allowing for thoughtful instruction and plenty of individual attention.
This is a space to relax, have fun, get creative, and feel free to “fail.” We believe mistakes are one of the quickest ways to learn—and that the best part of working with clay is enjoying the process together.
At the end of your experience, your finished vessels will be professionally glazed and fired, then carefully packaged and shipped directly to you. Please allow 4–6 weeks for your pieces to be completed and delivered.
What to Wear
Flat, comfortable shoes
Clothes that can easily be washed (clay does not stain)

A Place for the Maker is our way of honoring the people behind the products. Inside our Franklin store, you'll find handcrafted goods from makers we believe in. Ceramics, textiles, artwork, and more, each with a story worth sharing.
We don't rent shelf space. We build relationships with makers, give them a budget, and purchase their work outright. Every item on our shelves has a QR code so you can connect with the maker directly, follow their work, and support them long after you leave the store.
